1964 Chevelle SS

This 1964 Chevelle SS came to us from East Tennessee and fresh out of another “Good Old Boy” shop where the customer was not happy with quality and restoration time. At first quick glance the car appears to be OK and when you looked close at it, the restoration was a disaster to say the least. Everything, it seemed like, was wrong with the car. It had the wrong transmission, wrong suspension. The body was shoddy at best.

The car was disassembled and had to have major body re-work including both quarter panels in the rear. Pictures tell the story. The floor had to be rebuilt after a hack job with transmission tunnel failed. The customer was very adamant with the quality he wanted.
We get other shops work all the time and are pressed to make to make correct. This has been our reputation for doing it correct one time, the first time. Do your due diligence when searching out a restoration shop to save your prized possession.

The current owner of this car was restoring it for his father since his father was original owner. The car was completed in less than a year and is a total knock out. The 6.2 LS motor and Tremic 5 Speed were just the ticket to get this old car rock’en and rolling once again and the flawless body and paint work is impeccable. The custom made engine covers and sweet interior give this car distinction.
